Alice is Programme Leader and Senior Lecturer in Fine Art at The University of Lincoln, UK.

An artist, researcher, coach and educator, she is based in the midlands and has exhibited, published, and coached internationally.

Alice works relationally with people and places to explore notions of identity, intimacy, and co-responsibility. A social-engaged and multimodal artist, she works with the body, interactive technologies, video, performance and sculptural objects in specific locations, navigating through mediated, actual and imagined landscapes.

Her work assumes a dialogical space, positioning the audience, artist and artworks as both participants and observers, poised somewhere between immersion and more self-conscious, knowing states. Such embodiments seek to understand our lived experience and offer spaces for conversation, contemplation and connection.

Alice regularly collaborates with artist Steve Fossey as the collective Fossey+Bell and performer Marina Sossi as Alice+White and is part of the Hybrid Women Collective that bridges Italy and the UK.
